Honeymoon

Honeymoon
The traditional nuptial journey is so called because the first month of marriage was thought to be sweet - and why not? If you are sick of the sight of champagne following the wedding, why not share this sweet concoction?

serves 2

8-10 cracked ice cubes
4 measures apple brandy
2 measures Benedictine
2 measures lemon juice
2 tsp triple sec

Put the cracked ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pour the brandy, Benedictine, lemon juice and triple sec over the ice. Shake vigorously until a frost forms. Strain into two chilled cocktail glasses. Wedded bliss
These cocktails all serve one.

Bachelor's Bait:

put 4-6 cracked ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Dash orange bitters over the ice, pour in 2 measures gin and 1 teaspoon grenadine and add 1 egg white. Shake vigorously until a frost forms, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Cupid:

put 4-6 cracked ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Dash Tabasco sauce over the ice, pour in 2 measures dry sherry and 1 teaspoon sugar syrup and add 1 egg. Shake vigorously until a frost forms, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Kiss Kiss:

put 4-6 cracked ice cubes into a mixing glass. Pour 1 measure cherry brandy, 1 measure gin and 1 measure sweet vermouth over the ice. Stir well, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Wedding Bells:

put 4-6 cracked ice cubes into a mixing glass. Dash orange bitters over the ice and pour in 2 measures rye whiskey, 1 measure triple sec and 2 measures Lillet. Stir well to mix, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Confetti Shower:

put 4-6 crushed ice cubes into a blender and add 2 measures cherry brandy, 1 measure orgeat, 25 g/ 1 oz peeled, cored and sliced apple, 'A peeled, cored and sliced pear and 1/2 peeled, stoned and sliced peach. Blend until smooth, then pour into a chilled tumbler.
